CREAMY ONION SOUP

- 3 POUNDS SLICED ONIONS
- 3 ( 10 1/2 OUNCE CAN ) BEEF BROTH
- 2 ( 10 1/2 OUNCE CAN ) CHICKEN BROTH
- 1 ( 10 3/4 OUNCE CAN) CREAM OFMUSHROOM SOUP
- 2 TABLESPOONS BUTTER
- 2 TABLESPOONS FLOUR
- SALT
- GROUND BLACK PEPPER
Instructions
- MELT BUTTER IN A LARGE POT, ADD ONIONS AND COOK OVER MEDIUM HEAT UNTIL THE ONIONS ARE TENDER AND TRANSLUCENT.
- STIR IN THE FLOUR. BLEND IN THE BROTHS AND CREAM OF MUSHROOM SOUP MIXING WELL. HEAT TO A BOIL AND THEN REDUCE HEAT TO A SIMMER. SEASON TO TASTE WITH SALT AND PEPPER.
