    • 2 TABLELSPOONS FINELY CHOPPED GREEN ONION
    • 1/4 CUP BUTTER OR MARGARINE
    • 1 LB CRABMEAT OR 2 ( 8 OUNCE) PACKAGES FLAKED STYLE IMITATION CRABMEAT
    • 3 TABLESPOONS FLUR
    • 1/2 TEASPOON SALT
    • 1/2 TEASPOON WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
    • 2 CUPS LIGHT CREAM OR HALF AND HALF
    • 2 CUPS MILK
    • 2 TABLESPOONS DRY SHERRY
    • SLICED GREEN ONIONS


    Instructions


    1. IN A LARGE SAUCEPAN, COOK THE FINELY CHOPPED GREEN ONION IN HOT BUTTER UNTIL TENDER. STIR IN CRABMEMAT. STIR IN FLOUR, SALT AND WORCESTERSHIRE.
    2. ADD LIGHT CREAM OR HALF AND HALF ALL AT ONCE. COOK AND STIR OVER MEDIUM HEAT UNTIL THICKENED AND BUBBLY.
    3. COOK AND STIR FOR 1 MINUTE LONGER. STIR IN MILK AND SHERRY, HEAT THROUGHLY.
    4. TOP EACH SERVING WITH SLICED GREEN ONION.
