    EASY NO KNEAD BREAD

    NOTHING LIKE THE SMELL OF FRESH HOMEMADE BREAD BAKING.


    List of Ingredients


    • 5 CUPS WARM WATER ( 110° TO 115° )
    • 2 PACKAGES ACTIVE DRY YEAST
    • 1/2 CUP SUGAR OR HONEY
    • 1/2 CUP VEGETABL E SHORTENING
    • 2 TABLESPOONS
    • 12 CUPS FLOUR DIVIDED
    • BUTTER MELTED


    Instructions


    1. IN A LARGE BOWL, COMBINE WATER AND YEAST. STIR UNTIL YEAST IS DISSOLVED.
    2. ADD SUGAR, SHORTENING, SALT AND 6 CUPS FLOUR. BEAT ON HIGH SPEED WITH ELECTRIC MIXER FOR 3 MINUTES. ADD REMAINING FLOUR AND STIR IT WITH A WOODEN SPOON.
    3. COVER AND LET DOUGH RISE IN A WARM PLACE.
    4. PREPARE 4 LARGE OR 7 SMALL LOAF PANS WITH A VEGETABLE SPRAY.
    5. PUNCH DOWN DOUGH AND DIVIDE EQUALLY AMONG THE DESIRED LOAF PANS. COVER AND LET RISE AGAIN.
    6. PREHEAT OVEN TO 375°. BAKE FOR 45 MINUTES FOR LARGE PANS AND 30 MINUTES IN SMALL PANS. REMOVE FROM PANS IMMEDIATELY BRUSH WITH MELTED BUTTER AND LET COOL COMPLETELY ON WIRE RACKS.
