    New Orleans Microwave Pralines

This recipe is so much easier than the original version. There are alot less ingredients too. You may substitute walnuts for the pecans and they are just as good. I've made this several times and they are just great!

    List of Ingredients

    • 1 8oz carton cool whip
    • 1 16oz box brown sugar
    • 2 tblsp butter
    • 1 cup chopped pecans

    Instructions

    1. Mix cool whip and sugar in a 2 qt. microwave safe bowl.
    2. Place in microwave for 13 minutes on full power.
    3. Remove from microwave and mix in butter and pecans.
    4. Drop by spoonfulls onto wax paper and allow to cool.

    Final Comments

Makes 2 dozen pieces. Store in a warm container.
