    BEEF TURNOVERS/ CRESCENT HOT POCKETS

    List of Ingredients




    3 tubes (8oz each) refrigerated crescent rolls

    and 1 of the following fillings

    TANGY BEEF FILLING:
    1lb. ground beef
    1 med. onion, chopped
    1 (16oz.) jar sauerkraut, rinced, drained and chopped
    1 cup shredded swiss cheese

    PIZZA FILLING:
    1lb. ground beef or 1 pkg pepperoni
    1 onion, chopped
    1 small jar pizza quick sauce
    1 cup mozarella cheese

    SPINICH AND MUSHROOM FILLING:
    1 can whole leaf spinich, rinsed & drained
    1 jar mushrooms
    1 onion, chopped
    1 cup mozarella cheese

    Recipe



    In a skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add sauerkraut and cheese; mix well. Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into rectangles. Place on greased baking sheets; pinch seams to seal. Place 1/2 cup beef mixture in the center of each rectangle. Bring corners to the center and pinch to seal. Bake at 375* for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown.

    Yield: 1 dozen

    To use other fillings, just heat the ingredients together and procede as above.
