Bumble Bees
Pastry for a 10-inch pie
1 tablespoon melted butter
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Roll out pastry as for a pie crust, to about 1/8-inch thickness. Brush pastry with butter. Sprinkle with granulated sugar, then brown sugar, then cinnamon. Cut into 1/2-inch-wide strips. Roll up jellyroll fashion. Place
on greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 to 15 minutes, until light brown.
Makes 12 to 14 cookies.
