Quiet Sleep Potpourri
For those lucky enough to have an herb garden (oh, how you are envied!)
2 cups rosemary flowers & leaves (to dispel nightmares)
2 cups lavender flowers (to dispel melancholy)
1 cup chamomile flowers (to soothe the nerves)
2 tablespoons marjoram (to act as a sedative)
1/2 tablespoon aniseed (for scent)
1/2 tablespoon powdered orris root
6 drops bergamot oil
Recipe
This mixture can be made to look more substantial or to fill a large bowl with the addition of lemon verbena leaves, colored petals, or linden flowers.
