List of Ingredients
- garlic, as much as you like- raw or roasted for a gentler flavour
- 1 can chickpeas or 400g cooked chickpeas
- 2 tbsp olive oil (extra virgin)
- squeeze of lemon or lime
- tahini (a few tbsp should suffice or maybe 1/4 cup)
- paprika or parsley
Instructions
- In a blender, process chickpeas and garlic. Add juice and oil when it needs liquid (can add cooking liquid but not if using canned, then use water as needed)
- Season to taste and add tahini (carefully as you can add more but you can't take it out)
- Spoon into bowl and decorate top with paprika or VERY finely chopped parsley or a swirl of very good olive oil.
Final Comments
Serving possibilities are endless. Serve as a dip with crudites, pita or corn chips or as a sandwich spread (healthy). A must with felafel.
