    List of Ingredients


    • garlic, as much as you like- raw or roasted for a gentler flavour
    • 1 can chickpeas or 400g cooked chickpeas
    • 2 tbsp olive oil (extra virgin)
    • squeeze of lemon or lime
    • tahini (a few tbsp should suffice or maybe 1/4 cup)
    • paprika or parsley


    Instructions


    1. In a blender, process chickpeas and garlic. Add juice and oil when it needs liquid (can add cooking liquid but not if using canned, then use water as needed)
    2. Season to taste and add tahini (carefully as you can add more but you can't take it out)
    3. Spoon into bowl and decorate top with paprika or VERY finely chopped parsley or a swirl of very good olive oil.


    Final Comments


    Serving possibilities are endless. Serve as a dip with crudites, pita or corn chips or as a sandwich spread (healthy). A must with felafel.
