    2 eggs
    1 cup butter
    2 cups sugar
    2 cups applesauce
    2 tsp baking soda
    2 cups golden raisins
    1 cup walnuts (optional)
    3 cups self rising flour
    2 tsp cinnamon

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Mix eggs, butter and applesauce together. Add sugar. Sift flour, soda and cinnamon. Stir dry ingredients in with applesauce mixture then fold in nuts and raisins.

    Bake in a greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan for 1 hour.
