1 lb ground beef
5 small onions
8 slices bacon
1 can tomato soup
2 heads cabbage
1 cup rice
Salt and pepper to taste
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Steam cabbage and cook rice. Saute onions and rice with ground beef; add salt & pepper. Line the bottom of casserole dish with 4 bacon slices and then cover bacon with cabbage leaves. Fill cabbage leaves with hamburger mixture. Add tomato soup plus � can water. Cover this mixture with remaining bacon slices. Top with cabbage leaves.
Bake for 3-4 hours, covering only for the first hour.
**Note: When cover is removed, cabbage may get slightly �burned�. This is fine, it will not hurt cabbages.
