    Robyn's Salad with Pecans

    This recipe was given to me by my sister Robyn

    Recipe Introduction

    Robyn makes this salad for thanksgiving and it's always the best. A must have at our thanksgiving table. Thanks for sharing Robyn.

    List of Ingredients

    1 head butter lettuce, broken
    1 can Mandarin oranges, drained
    1 6 oz pkg pecans, sauteed
    1 can French fried onion rings

    The above ingredients can be put in a bowl ahead of time, but do not mix.

    Recipe

    Dressing:

    1 c. oil
    1 medium onion
    1 t. salt
    1 t. dry or wet mustard
    7 T. sugar
    1 c. cider vinegar
    1 T. celery seed

    In a blender, mix all salad dressing ingredients, except vinegar and celery seed first. Add vinegar and celery seed and mix for 30 seconds. Add dressing to salad and toss to coat just before you serve.

    Serves 6-8
