    List of Ingredients


    • 2 lbs uncooked prawns
    • 1 tsp. salt
    • 2 large eggs
    • 3 cups oil
    • 2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1/2 tsp sugar
    • 1/2 cup flour
    • 1 tbsp wine


    Instructions


    1. Shell prawns and cut each into two pieces.
    2. Combine soy sauce, wine, salt, sugar and eggs and mix well.
    3. Add the prawns and stir about to coat thoroughly with mixture.
    4. Heat oil.
    5. Dip a piece of prawn in the flour, then vigorously shake off all but a light dusting of the flour.
    6. Drop the prawn into the hot oil and fry, turning the pieces frequently until golden brown on both sides.
