Creamed Onions

List of Ingredients
4 medium onions, sliced 1/4 inch thick
1/4 cup margarine
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 cup milkRecipe
Procedure
Saute onions in margarine in skillet over low heat (without browning) until crisp-tender. Sprinkle with flour, salt and pepper. Gradually stir in milk; cook and stir until thickened.
Microwave
For microwave oven cook onions in margarine in 1 1/2 quart casserole 3 to 4 minutes or until onions are almost crisp-tender. Stir in flour,salt, pepper and milk. Cover and cook 5 to 6 minutes or until sauce is thick, stirring twice. Let stand 5 minutes.
