List of Ingredients

1/2 cup cornmeal
1-3/4 cups whole wheat flour
2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 tablespoons granulated beef, vegetable, pork or chicken stock mix
2 tablespoons bacon bits
6 tablespoons bacon or chicken fat or vegetable oil
2/3 cups water (approximately)



Recipe

Mix dry ingredients together well. Slowly add water and oil to make a stiff dough. Roll out to 1/4" thickness and cut out with a knife, cookie cutter or bone-shaped cutter. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 35 to 45 minutes. Can be basted with meat drippings or bone fat if desired.
