Sausage and Sauerkraut Casserole

Recipe Introduction
Serves 4. 5 pts. per serving.
List of Ingredients
- 8-oz. Healthy Choice 97% FF Kielbasa Sausage, cooked, cooled and sliced
- 2 cups cooked noodles, rinsed and drained
- 2 cups (one 16-oz can) sauerkraut, well drained
- 1 (10-3/4-oz.) can RF low sodium Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1 tsp. caraway seeds
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 8x8-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, combine sausage, noodles and sauerkraut. Add mushroom soup, caraway seeds and black pepper. Mix well to combine.
- Pour into baking dish. Cover and bake 45 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 15 mintues.
Final Comments
Hints 1: you can substitute Healthy Choice frankfurters for the sausage. 2. A full 1-3/4 cups uncooked noodles usually makes about 2 cups cooked.
