    Makes about 8 servings, 7 pts per serving


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 fresh beef brisket (not corned beef) (about 3-lbs)
    • 1 package dry onion soup mix
    • 1 can (10-1/2-oz.) condensed Beef Broth
    • 8 mini baguettes or sandwich buns


    Instructions


    1. In a 3-1/2-quart to 4-quart slow cooker, place beef. In a small bowl, mix soup mix and broth; pour over beef.
    2. Cover and cook on Low heat setting 8 to 10 hours.
    3. Skim fat from liquid. Remove beef from cooker; place on cutting board. Cut beef across grain into thin slices or shred beef. to serve, cut each baguette horizontally in half crosswise. Serve with broth for dipping. Beef mixture will hold on low heat setting up to 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
