Fried Mushrooms
1 lb mushrooms
salt
flour
breadcrumbs
Recipe
Wash and season mushrooms with salt. Roll them in flour, dip in
beaten eggs and coat with breadcrumbs. Deep fry in very hot oil.
Horseradish Sauce
1/2 cup chilled whipping cream
3 tablespoons well-drained prepared horseradish
1/2 teaspoon salt
Beat whipping cream in chilled 1 /2-pint bowl until stiff. Fold in
horseradish and salt. 1 cup sauce; 25 calories per tablespoon.
Delicious topping for beef. ham or pork, and deep fried mushrooms.
