Blueberry Crunch

I found this on a free site of Amish-Mennonite recipes
1 cup flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup soft butter
1 cup brown sugar
FILLING:
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup boiling water
2 tablespoons cornstarch
3 cups blueberries
Mix first 5 ingredients until crumbly. Put 1/2 of crumbs in bottom of 9x9-inch pan.
Stir together sugar and cornstarch. Add to boiling water and cook until thickened. Add blueberries to filling and pour in pan on top of crumbs. Add remaining crumbs and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cherries, apples, or other fruit may be used. Makes 6-10 servings.
