    Sausage and Cheese Quiche

    List of Ingredients




    1 unbaked 9" pastry shell

    3/4 pound bulk pork sausage (like Bob
    Evans)

    1/2 cup chopped onion

    1/3 cup chopped green pepper

    1 (6 oz) package shredded Swiss cheese

    2 eggs, beaten

    1 tablespoon flour

    1 tablespoon chopped parsley, or 1 teaspoon dried parsley
    flakes

    1/4 teaspoon pepper

    1 cup evaporated milk

    Directions
    Place pastry in quiche dish or pie plate; Bake at 425 degrees for
    7 minutes.

    Brown sausage, remove from pan. Cook onion and green
    pepper in 2 tablespoons sausage fat for 2 minutes or until
    crisp-tender. Stir in sausage. Spoon mixture into partially baked
    crust. Sprinkle cheese over meat layer. Combine eggs, flour,
    parsley, pepper and milk; beat well and pour over cheese. Bake
    at 350 degrees for 30 - 35 minutes or until knife tip inserted near
    center comes out clean. Cool for 5 to 10 minutes, then cut in
    wedges to serve.
