Shortbread Cookies
List of Ingredients
1 cup butter
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
Method
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Cream butter.
Sift together flour, confectioners sugar and salt.
Blend the dry ingredients into the butter.
Either roll this dough out and use cookie cutters, or pat the dough into an
ungreased 9 x 9 inch pan and press edges down.
If 9 x 9 pan, Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Cut into squares while still warm.
Or for single cookie shapes, bake for
approximately 10 - 12 minutes, or until golden. Recipe
