    Almond Joy Cake

    I found this on a consultant ideas board from a lady named"Burning Flame"

    List of Ingredients




    Ingredients:
    1 (18.5 oz) box devil's food cake mix
    1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
    2 1/2 cups white sugar
    25 large marshmallows
    14 oz. flaked coconut
    1/2 cup butter
    2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
    3 oz. toasted almonds

    Directions:
    1. Mix cake mix and bake as directed for one 9x13 inch cake
    2. In saucepan, combine 1/2 can of milk & 1 1/2 cups of sugar. Bring mixture to rapid boil. Quickly remove from heat and add marshmallows. Stir until melted. Stir in coconut. Pour mixture over top of cake.
    3. In saucepan, combine remaining sugar and milk. Bring to rapid boil. Remove from heat and add butter and chocolate chips. Stir until melted. Mix in almonds. Pour mixture over top of coconut topped cake. Chill for at least two hours before serving. Cake tastes best if made the day before.
