2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
2 1/2 tsp baking Powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 cup margarine
3/4 cup milk
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
11-ounce can mandarin orange, drained.
Preheat oven to 350.F. Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg.Cut in the margarine until fine crumbs form. Reserve 1/2 cup of the crumbs for the topping.
To the remainder, add the milk, egg, and vanilla. Spread in a greased 8-inch square pan. Spread the oranges on top, and cover with remaining crumbs. Bake 40-45 minutes.
