    Pecan Tassies/ mini pies

    List of Ingredients




    Got this recipe from Glenda at KT recipe exchange

    Crust:
    1 3 oz package cream cheese
    1/2 c butter
    1 c sifted flour
    1/2 c diced pecans
    Soften cheese and butter at room temperature. Add flour 1/4 c at a time. Divide into 24 balls and refrigerate 15 minutes. Flatten into the bottom
    of mini muffin pans. Sprinkle pecans on top of crust.
    FIlling:
    2 tbsp melted butter
    1 c light brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp vanilla
    dash salt
    Mix all together. Place a smal amount (approx. 1 tsp), in each shell. Place one pecan half on top of each.
    Bake 25 - 30 minutes at 325°. Remove carefully from pans and cool on rack.
    Makes 24 Tassies.
