Buttermilk Custard Pie

2 cups sugar
4 heaping tablespoons flour
1 stick melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
2 unbaked regular pie shells
Stir together first six ingredients, mixing well. Pour into unbaked pie shells and bake at 325� for 45 minutes or until pies are light golden brown and custard is firm.
