Brown Sugar Chicken w/Cinnamon Maple Swe

3 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tablespoons light brown sugar
2 teaspoons montreal steak seasoning
2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
1 Tablespoon Olive oil
4 small skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut diagonally

1/4 cup red wine (can substitute chicken broth, but
...but the alcohol cooks out)
1, 24 ounce package refrigerated mashed sweet potatoes
1/4 cup maple syrup
3 Tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
In large bowl, mix garlic, brown sugar and steak seasoning until well blended.
Heat a 12 inch skillet on medium heat.
Place chicken in bowl with mixture and press pieces into mixture, turning
and pressing to coat.
Place 2 tbs butter and olive oil in large skillet and melt on medium heat.
Add chicken and saute 5 to 6 minutes each side or until browned and cooked
through. Remove chicken from pan and tent.
Stir into skillet, the remaining butter and wine.
Simmer one minute on medium high, stirring constantly.
Meanwhile, combine potatoes, syrup, butter and cinnamon.
Cover and microwave on high 3 to 5 minutes, stirring once or until heated
through.
Plate potatoes, top with chicken and sauce.
