    OVEN COUNTRY RIBS

    Source of Recipe

    Nancy

3 lb country style pork ribs
    1/4 C flour ( I usually need more)
    3/4 C sugar
1/2 C rice wine vinegar (I usually use rice vinegar and sake)
    1/4 C soy sauce

    Preheat oven to 350°.
Shake ribs in a plastic bag with flour. Place in a large shallow baking pan. I use a 11x15 Pyrex dish.
Combine sugar, vinegar and soy sauce. Pour mixture over ribs. Bake 1 1/2 to 2 hrs, turning every 30 min.
You can add your favorite BBQ sauce if desired during the last 30 min of cooking, but these have a great flavor on their own.
Note: I tried a new combo for the sauce. 3/4 C maple syrup, 1/3 C plain rice vinegar and 1/4 C soy sauce.
Same method as above. They turned out very good.
