    Turkey Sandwiches


    List of Ingredients


    • extra thin sliced turkey or chicken
    • cranberry sauce
    • dijon mustard
    • *optional stuffing/dressing
    • extra thin sliced bread


    Instructions


    1. Mix dijon mustard and cranberry sauce, to taste.
    2. Cut crust off extra thin sliced bread.
    3. On one slice of bread, put one layer of turkey or chicken.
    4. *optional: Spread another thin layer of stuffing/dressing on top of turkey or chicken.
    5. Spread thin layer of dijon/cranberry spread onto turkey if not using stuffing/dressing. If you use the stuffing/dressing spread a thin layer of cranberry dijon mix on top of stuffing/dressing.
    6. Put another layer of turkey or chicken on top. To prevent bread from getting soggy.
    7. Top with another peice of bread.
    8. You could spread a thin layer of butter on bread if you are concerned about the possibility of the bread getting soggy before your guests arrive.


    Final Comments


    Variation:
    You can make it with just cranberry sauce with out mixing in the dijon mustard also.

    I got the bigger version of this out of a old Victoria Magazine, about what to do with left over turkey. This is a tea party version I have made up.

    I think it would be very good when it is cold outside. Maybe too hefty for spring and summer.
