    Hot Brown Tart-Sugar Free


    List of Ingredients


    • 4 eggs
    • 2 cups half and half
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp pepper
    • 1 cup cooked turkey breast meat, chopped
    • 1/2 grated cheddar cheese
    • 1/4 grated parmesan cheese
    • 2 small tomatoes sliced thinly
    • 4 slices bacon, cooked till crisp, then crumbled


    Instructions


    1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
    2. Line a nine-inch tart pan with pastry dough.
    3. Bake the pastry blindly for 5-10 minutes until done & barely golden, but NOT brown.
    4. Beat the eggs, combined with the half and half, salt and pepper. Set aside.
    5. Place the turkey meat on the bottom of the tart crust. Spread the grated cheddar over the turkey.
    6. Then, pour the egg/cream mixture over the cheese, then
      lay the tomatoes on top of the egg/cream mixture.
    7. Top with the bacon and then parmesan.
    8. Bake for 10 minutes at 400 degrees F.
    9. After 10 minutes, lower the oven temperature to 350 degrees F and bake 30 more minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
    10. The top should be brown and crusty.
    11. Remove from the oven and allow to cool before serving.
