Savory Crescent Chicken Squares

This is one the kids love too! (I use canned chicken - next to tuna in
grocery aisle)
List of Ingredients
1 (3oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
3 Tbsp. margarine or butter, melted
2 c. cubed cooked chicken or 2 (5 oz.) cans
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. milk
1 tsp. chopped chives or onion
1 tsp. chopped pimiento (if desired)
1 8oz. Pillsbury refrigerated quick crescent dinner rolls
3/4 c seasoned croutons, crushedRecipe
Heat oven to 350. In medium bowl, blend cream cheese and 2 Tbsp. of butter
until smooth. Add next 6 ingredients and mix well. Separate dough in into 4 rectangles, firmly press perforations around edges together to
seal. Spoon 1/2 cup meat mixture on to center of each rectangle. Pull 4 corners of dough to top center of chicken mixture, twist slightly and seal
edges. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Brush tops with reserved 1 tsp
butter. Sprinkle with crouton crumbs. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or
until golden brown. Serves 4.
