1 cup of red lentils washed
4 cups of waterRecipe
Soak lentils over night or quick soak by bringing to a boil and boiling for 2 minutes then let sit for 1 hour.
Cover the bottom of a frying pan with oil of choice and heat to med/high. Place 1/2 the lentils in the oil and salt (I used sea salt) to taste. Fry until crispy.
Repeat with the rest of the lentils. Place on paper towels to soak up excess oil.
Use the crumbly lentils in biscuits (they are orange and look like bits of cheese and they taste even better). Use them on top of pizza YUMMY!!!
