    I make cream of mushroom soup from scratch.

    1 cup sliced portabella mushrooms
    1/4 cup diced onions
    just a bit of minced garlic
    sautee in oil of choice
    add a little broth and simmer
    add 1/2 cup mimicreme
    stir in salt and pepper to taste
    dissolve 3 tblsp of cornstarch in water and add stirring until thickened.
