    Magic Shell Chocolate Sauce

    Source of Recipe

    Brenda-Lee Olson

    Recipe Introduction

    From Debra Lynn Dadd

    List of Ingredients

1.8 ounces cf chocolate bar or chocolate chips
    1 tablespoon coconut oil

    Recipe

Melt the chocolate in a very small saucepan over very low heat (or in a double boiler).

Watch carefully and stir as it can burn very quickly.

As soon as the chocolate is melted, stir in the coconut oil.

The mixture will look very thin.

Spoon over ice cream or dip other frozen foods, and it will form a hard shell in less than a minute.

Note: This needs to be made with a chocolate bar or chocolate chips. It doesn't work to substitute cocoa powder and fat.

Note: You MUST use coconut oil for this recipe. Other fats will not make the shell. This is because coconut oil hardens below 76 degrees.
