1. Open the cabinets until you find the one with the pots.
2. (Pots are usually round with a straight handle on one side.)
3. Take one out.
4. At this point you may want to do a little investigative research and look at the different kinds of pots because once you learn how to make boiled water, you may be asked to do more.
5. Try not to get sidetracked too long.
6. An ideal pot for "Boiled Water" is determined by how much really really hot water you will want and what you are making.
7. Take the chosen pot to the sink.
8. Place the pot under the faucet and fill with desired amount of water.
9. Carefully take the pot to the stove.
10. Look for the knobs that turn the burners on.
11. There are little pictures on most of them to let you know which one operates the chosen burner.
12. Turn it to the highest setting.
13. If you have never done this before or if you get sidetracked easily, stand there and wait or you might burn the pot. The larger the pot, the longer you stand.
14. It takes a bit of time.
15. When you see little bubbles on the bottom of the pot they will start to rise to the top and then they will become bigger and move up faster.
16. When they are rising really fast, you have made "Boiled Water".
17. Chef Note: Cook time is dependant on how much water you boil.
18. Also when you remove the pot from heat, boiling will stop almost immediately -- don't be alarmed, you still did it. :-)
