Recipe Introduction
My girlfriend from Georgia use to make this when she had cook outs, I just love it on a hot summer day.
List of Ingredients
3 lbs. frozen peas, rinsed in hot water but not thawed
2 C. Sweet pickle chips, chopped
1 C. diced red bell peppers
2 C. diced celery
12 hard-boiled eggs, whites only, sliced
1/2 C. finely chopped onions
DRESSING:
4 C. mayonnaise
1/4 C. sugar
1/4 C. chopped sweet pickle chips
1 tablespoon diced red bell pepper
Recipe
Preparation:
In a large bowl, combine salad ingredients. In a separate bowl mix dressing ingredients. Add to salad mixture and gently toss.Chill at least 1 hr before serving. Yield: 4 lbs
