6 c. vinegar
1 c. salt

Recipe
Boil water, vinegar and slat for 15 minutes. Add 1 T. sugar to each quart jar, cucumbers and lots of dill weed when packed. Pour boiling brine over cucumbers. Seal tightly. Set jars in boiling water deep enough to cover tops of jars. (recipe doesn't say how long to boil). Take out of boiling water and let stand until cool.
