6 c. flour
2 sticks (oleo) margarine
2 cakes yeast or 1 large cake
1 t. salt
1 t. vanilla
3 eggs
1 1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
Recipe
Mix flour and margarine together as for pie crust. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Beat eggs, milk, salt, vanilla and sugar. Add both mixtures to flour mixture. Mix well and knead until worked in. Put into a greased bowl and let rise for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Divide dough into 6 parts and let rise for 30 minutes (cover with towels. Roll out as for jelly roll. Put in your choice of filling and roll up. Seal edges. Let rise again for 20 minutes. use two 9"x13" pans. Put three rolls onto each. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
