Breakfast Souffle (Mom's recipe)
Prepare this the night before. It needs to sit overnight. This is great for a brunch or if you have overnight guests.
List of Ingredients
12 slices of buttered bread, cubed
4 cup milk
8 eggs
salt and pepper to taste
2 cups shredded cheese
24 sausage links, cut and partially cooked
corn flakes for toppingRecipe
Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan. Put half of bread in bottom of pan, then cheese, sausage and the other half of bread cubes.
Beat eggs and milk. Pour over the top of bread. Let stand in frigerator overnight. Add milk if dry in the morning. Top with corn flakes to cover the top. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
