    Amy's Fantastic Fudge

    List of Ingredients




    4 1/2 c. sugar
    1/8 t. salt
    2 T. butter (no margarine)
    1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 jar marshmallow creme
    12 oz. semi sweet chocolate chips
    12 oz. milk chocolate chips
    1 t. almond extract
    1 to 2 c. chopped pecans (optional)

    Butter a 15 x11 inch jelly roll pan and set aside. In a large heavy saucepan, bring sugar, salt ,butter and milk to a boil over medium heat. Boil for about 6 minutes. Meanwhile, place the marshmallow creme, chocolate and almond extract in a large bowl. Pour the syrup over the marshmallow mixture. Beat until chocolate is melted. Add nuts if using. Pour the fudge into buttered pan. Let harden at room temperature. Cut into 1 inch squares.
