    Mrs. Masby's Sugar Cookies

    This recipe was handwritten in Grandma Ruth's old cookbook.

    List of Ingredients




    3 c. sifted flour
    2 t. baking powder
    1 scant t. soda
    1/2 t. nutmeg
    Cut into this :
    1 c. shortening

    In a bowl beat these ingredients:

    1 c. sugar
    4 t. sweet milk
    2 eggs beaten well
    1 t. vanilla

    Put into dry mixture and mix well. Chill. Roll out and cut. Bake at 375 degrees until golden brown.
