Banana Split Dessert (Mom's Recipe)
Line a 9"x13" pan with graham cracker crust, saving small amount for topping. Slice 3 large bananas over crust. Slice 1/2 gallon Neopolitan ice cream and place on bananas. sprinkle with 1 cup nuts and freeze.
Melt 1 small package of chocolate chips and 1/2 cup margarine. Add 2 cups powdered sugar and 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk. cook until quite thick and then add 1 t. vanilla. Cool (can also use 1 can of Hershey's hot fudge topping). Pour over ice cream layer. Freeze.
Whip 1 pint cream. Sweeten with sugar and spread over fuge mixture. Sprinkle with reserved grahm cracker crumbs. Return to freezer. Let dessert sit out for 10 minutes before cutting to serve.
