Prepare a sweet roll dough. After last rise, roll dough into a rope about the thickness of a pencil. Cut off pieces and place onto a greased cookie sheet. Let rise and bake at 350 degrees until golden brown. Finished bisuits should be the size of a walnut. Just before serving, pour boiling water over the biscuits and drain quickly. Have a mixture of poppy seeds and honey ready to pour over the biscuits. Coat well. A final touch is to add 2 T. melted lard.
