This is a Slovak Easter cheese eaten during the Easter dinner.
List of Ingredients
1 dozen eggs
1 t. vanilla
1 quart milk
1 c. sugar
pinch of salt
Recipe
In a double boiler, pour milk into the saucepan and add eggs. Beat lightly until all yolks are broken. Add sugar and salt. Cook over low heat and stir frequently until mixture looks like scrambled eggs. Add vanilla. Pour into a cheesecloth bag and tie tightly. Let drain well. After it is cool, at least 2 hour., carefully remove from cheesecloth bag and refrigerate. Can be eaten alone or with Easter ham.
