    With BBQ season upon us, I thought I would share this grilled burger recipe.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1/4 c. finely chopped onions
    • 2 T. tomato paste
    • 1 T. minced garlic
    • 1/2 t. salt
    • 1/2 t. dried rosemary
    • 1/2 t. pepper
    • 1/4 t. allspice
    • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
    • 1 can/bottle beer
    • Mustard sauce (recipe below)


    Instructions


    1. In a large bowl combine onion, tomato paste, garlic, salt, rosemary, pepper, and allspice.Add ground beef and mix well. Shape into 6 patties. Place in a shallow dish. Reserve 1 Tablespoon beer for Mustard Sauce; pour remaining beer over burgers. cover and refrigerate for 6 to 24 hours, turning burgers once.
    2. Prepare mustard sauce. Cover and refrigerate.
    3. Mustard Sauce recipe:
      In a small bowl combine:
      3 T. stoneground mustard
      3/4 t. Worcestershire sauce
      1T. beer
    4. Drain beer from burgers and discard. Grill burgers over medium heat for 10 to 14 minutes, turning once.
    5. Serve on buns with the mustard sauce.
