    Southern Comfort and Cream Pheasant

    I came up with this recipe for our Easter dinner this year.

    List of Ingredients




    2 pheasants
    6 slices bacon
    1 onion, sliced
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/3 c. Southern Comfort
    1 c. chicken broth
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. cream

    Recipe



    Place pheasants in a roasting pan and top with bacon slices. Add onion, garlic,Southern Comfort,chicken broth and salt and pepper. Roast 45 minutes at 375 degrees. Baste. Remove bacon. Stir in cream into the pan juices. Bake 10 to 15 minutes longer. Serve with cream sauce.
