Recipe Introduction

This is a flourless cookie recipe that I highly recommend!

List of Ingredients

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 teaspoons soda
1 jar (18 oz.-2 cups) chunk style peanut butter
1 tube (18 oz.-6 cups) quick or old-fashioned oats, uncooked
1 pkg. (16 oz.-1 cup) semisweet chocolate pieces
(Do not use flour in this recipe!)


Recipe

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a large saucepan, beat together butter and sugar; blend in eggs and vanilla. Add peanut butter, mix well. Stir in oats, chocolate pieces and soda, mixing well. Drop cookies onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with fork to 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet. Makes 4 1/2 dozen.
