Recipe Introduction

These are my favorite cookies! I have tried several different variations of this recipe and this one is the best!

List of Ingredients

1 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cup flour
2 teaspoons flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt



Recipe

Mix shortening, sugar, and eggs throughly. Stir together flour, cream of tartar, soda, and salt. Roll dough into walnut sized balls and roll into mixture of 2 tablespoons and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon. Bake in preheated oven of 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes until lightly browned but still soft. These cookies puff up at first, then flatten out with a crinkled top.
