Florence's Shrimp Mold
This is my sister's recipe and though I have never actually made this I have eaten it MANY times over the years. When we go to a potluck I request that she take this shrimp mold. (I don't know what the source of the original recipe was.)
List of Ingredients
- 1 can tomatoe soup
- 1 8 oz pkg. of cream cheese
- 1 envelope unflavored gelatin, disolved in>>>
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup mayo
- 1 Tbs lemon juice
- 1/2 cup each celery AND onion diced very fine
- 1 lb very small shrimp OR 3 or 4 cans (about 6oz each)
Instructions
- In sauce pan combine first 4 ingredients; heat over low heat almost to a boil.
- Pour into a large bowl. Add mayo and lemon juice, mix well.
- Add celery and onions, mix well. Fold in shrimp and pour into a 6 cup mold. Chill until firm.
- Serve with crackers.
