    Ginger Peach Mold

    Recipe Introduction


    For variety I sometimes add 1 or more cups of thawed, unsweetened raspberrys in addition to the peaches.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 6oz box orange jello
    • 2 cups hot water
    • 14 oz (a little less than 2 cups) ginger ale
    • 1-1 1/2 cups thinly sliced peaches (I use canned, cut into pieces)
    • 1 cup whipped cream, whipped
    • 1 teas. ginger


    Instructions


    1. Disolve gelatin in hot water. Add ginger ale--I pour the ginger ale into an 8x8 pan for a while to let it get a little flat; otherwise the jello will foam up when you add it.

    2. Chill until slightly thickened. Add peaches and put in 1 1/2 quart mold. Chill until firm.

    3. Unmold and serve with whipped cream flavored with the ginger. Makes 8-10 servings.
