Overnight Pasta Salad

Serves 4
List of Ingredients
- 1 cup small shell macaroni, cooked and cooled
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 2 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
- 1 cup of frozen peas, thawed
- 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 Tbs chopped green onion
- 1 teas, prepared mustard
- dash of bottled hot sauce
- snipped parsley
Instructions
- Place lettuce in bottom of a 2-quart bowl. Top with macaroni. Put egg slices on next and sprinkle with a little salt. Next put in peas and shredded cheese. Combine remaining ingredients except parsley and mix well. Spread over top of salad, sealing to edge of bowl. Cover and refrigerate overnight or 24 hours. Sprinkle top with snipped parsley. Toss before serving.
Final Comments
One cup of diced ham can be added with the peas if desired.
