Tomatoe, Roasted Red Pepper & Provolone
List of Ingredients
- French bread
- roasted red peppers
- olive oil
- garlic, chopped
- tomatoes, sliced
- basil leaves, cut in strips
- provolone cheese, sliced thin
Instructions
- Marinate the roasted red peppers in olive oil and garlic for 2 hours or longer.
- When ready to assemble the sandwich. Cut off a length of French bread and cut in half lengthwise. Brush it with the garlic olive oil the peppers are marinating in and put some of the garlic on the bread. Next, layer with tomatoes, peppers and cheese and sprinkle the basil strips on top. Add salt and pepper if you wish.
